Boat storage buildings in North Florida

Enclosed bays sized for a boat on its trailer.

Boat storage buildings in North Florida: what to know

Boat buildings are measured from the trailer tongue to the farthest point of the motor in its tilted-up position, not from the boat's listed length. Height has to clear the console top, radar arch or tower when the boat sits on the trailer bunks. Many owners in North Florida keep both a bass boat and a pontoon, so a two-bay plan with different door heights is common. Light inside matters too, since you will be checking gear and rigging in there. A hose bib by the door makes the post-trip rinse quicker.
